TSP Disc Golf Course Needs Volunteers

Members and Friends of Tyler State Disc Golf Course –

The BCDGA needs your help. Our Tyler Disc Golf Course “Grounds Keeper” (Willie) has obtained a significant amount of chips through Mike’s Tree Service and the Maintenance Dept at Tyler State Park, which have been deposited around the course (holes 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 15 so far). More chips will be deposited in the weeks to come. Todd “W2” Cottrell (part of Willie’s evil Pyramid scheme) has been doing a fine job with the time he has available to spread these chips. However, as mentioned earlier…there are quite a few piles that need to be spread about.

In the past, many of you have asked to help in taking care of the course. Willie has been slow to delegate any of his many duties or work load. He has now lost his “slow to delegate” attitude and is ready to pass the pitch fork and wheel barrow! (Okay…he is really injured and getting old.)

Now is the time to lend a hand and make the Tyler DG Course absolutely spectacular for the GE Am Cup and beyond.
Please contact “Hobie” at 215-982-0657 or rhay@customessence.com to help “W2” spread chips in the appropriate spots. This not a complicated task and will help with erosion, reduce muddy spots, and make for a B – E – A Utiful course. Now is also a great time to sling chips as the temperature is relatively cool.

Any time you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hobie
