What did you guys do this weekend? I froze. Saturday I helped out with a disc-golf food/clothes drive aptly named the Ice Bowl.

Enchanted Forest Toy Drive II – Canceled Due to Snow!

Sorry for the late notice.  The Enchanted Forest Toy Drive II is officially canceled for today due to inclement weather.

The tournament may be rescheduled.  We will be looking at all our options very shortly.  Please check back for more details about this tournament.

BCDGA Winter League – Every Sunday flex start 7:30am-11:30am

winterleagueThe BCDGA would like to present our top notch Winter League.  This league offers a flexible start time.  Show up anytime after 7:30am and before 11:30am to play your round.  Any skill level is welcome to play.  The league offers a regular or handicapped option for scoring, you choose which you prefer.

Who: You (Beginners to Advanced….All welcome)
What: 1 round of Disc Golf (18 holes) on Sunday mornings
Where: Tyler State Park Disc Golf Course
When: Sundays (starting Oct 18th for 18 weeks)
Flex Start time: 7:30am to 11:30am
Cost: $2 for Regular League*
$3 for Handicap League*
$1 Ace (optional)
$1 per 50/50 ticket – 2 winners drawn every 6 weeks
(optional but encouraged proceeds got to course maintenance)
*You can only play in either Regular league or Handicap league…not both.
9 weeks of a previous season needed to qualify for Handicap league.
Cash League: Must have minimum 12 of 18 weeks to qualify

The event will be held Saturday December 19th, 2009. Rescheduled for Saturday March 20th, 2010.

Fall N Putt is Saturday the 21st at Rutgers Course

Hey everyone, the Fall N Putt is This Saturday, the 21st at Rutgers Disc Golf Course on the Cook College Campus.  Hosted By JB and Mac it will be a lot of fun.  Custom hot stamped putters in your players pack, plus lunch, ace pot and it is a PDGA Sanctioned event for points not ratings (XC).

You will only be allowed to play with the putter in your players pack, but get this, Rutgers ALL SHORT TEES for 2 rounds,  does it get any better.

See www.bcdga.com for the full flyer and to pre-reg.  The flyer has changed since yesterday so look again if you looked before.  Payout is no longer limited to just first place trophies.  Won’t be huge payout but it is not longer limited to just first place.  Thanks to all who are contributing to this event.

It is a great day to get out to Tyler and play some disc golf – it’s beautiful!!! Nothing like a little Native American Summer in November to get you itching to throw!

Since it is so nice, Big Dog is headed to the park to sell club plastic. I also have the discs bins that folks ordered with me.
